Delete your account
How to delete your Encore account and the personal data that goes with it, with the app or without it.
Last updated 2026-11-01
This page is for the Encore app for iPhone and Android, and for the Encore website. One Encore account works in all three, so deleting it once deletes it everywhere.
Delete it in the app
- Open Encore and sign in.
- Tap Profile.
- Tap Sign-in and security.
- Tap Delete account, then confirm with Delete my account.
It happens straight away and cannot be undone. You don’t need to email us.
Ask without the app
Email support@daytona-lab.com from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. You can also use our contact form. We check that the request comes from the address on the account, then delete the account for you and reply to confirm. Deleting it this way removes exactly the same data as deleting it in the app.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in. The account stops existing and can no longer be signed into.
- Your profile: your name and email address.
- Your phone number, wherever we hold it.
- The organizers you follow.
- The emails and texts we hold for you, sent or queued. If you never confirmed your email address, emails we hold that were addressed to it are not deleted.
- On iPhone, the tokens we hold for lock-screen ticket updates.
What is kept, and for how long
Records of orders, payments, tickets and memberships are kept, because they are needed for tax and accounting and for the time in which a card payment can be disputed with a bank. You are removed from them: the email address on them is replaced with a random placeholder that does not identify anyone, and the phone number and the link to your account are removed. These records hold no name of their own; your name was on your profile, which is deleted. The one exception is a ticket an organizer sold or gave you at the door, which keeps the name door staff typed in for it. We keep these records for seven years after the order, then delete them.
Tickets you already bought stay valid and will still scan at the door. Deleting your account is not a refund.
If you worked an event door, the check-ins you scanned stay in the organizer’s admission history, linked to an internal identifier for your former account that no longer leads to your name or email.
Two cases that need an email
- You own an organizer. Transfer ownership to another member of your team first, then delete the account.
- Your account is named on a payment audit record. Those records can’t be changed by design. The app will tell you; email us and we will finish the deletion for you.
Your Apple or Google sign-in
Deleting your Encore account removes your profile and sign-in from us. Apple or Google may still list Encore as an app you signed in to until you remove it there: for Apple, in Settings, then your name, then Sign-In & Security, then Sign in with Apple; for Google, at myaccount.google.com, then Security, then Your connections to third-party apps & services.
