How do ticket types, prices and quantities work?
Each event can have several ticket types, like General Admission and VIP. Each has its own name, price and quantity.
Price
The price is what you receive. Fans pay our service fee of 7% + $1 on top. As you type a price, the form shows Fan pays, Fee and You receive.
- Type a price like 25 or 25.50.
- Type 0 for a free ticket. Free tickets have no fee.
- Prices are in US dollars only.
Quantity
- A number, like 200, is how many of that ticket you can sell.
- Leave it empty for no limit.
- Type 0 to stop selling that ticket type. It shows as Off sale.
Add, change or remove a ticket type
- Open the event and tap Edit event (or Continue on a draft).
- Under Tickets, change Price or Qty on a ticket type, or add one with New tier name, Price and Qty.
- Tap Save changes.
Once a ticket type has sales:
- It can be closed but not deleted. Set its quantity to 0 to stop sales.
- A new price applies to new orders only. Fans who already bought keep what they paid.
Sales window
Each ticket type can have its own Starts and Ends for sales, in the event's time zone. Before the start it shows Not yet; after the end, Ended. Leave them empty to sell until the event ends.
Status you'll see
The Tickets tab lists each ticket type with its Price, Fan pays, Sold, Sales window and Status: On sale, Sold out, Off sale, Not yet or Ended. A ticket type you paused shows Paused; under a paused event every type reads Paused (event). See Pause sales.
A free ticket is limited to 10 per person, per event, per day. Paid tickets have no per-person limit.
